A2A / Classics Hangar FW190 / Long Nose

I recently had the pleasure of speaking with Mathias of Classics Hangar about current and future projects. During our conversation, we both decided to work on different versions of the Focke Wulf. Classics Hangar develops the FW190A’s and A2A develops the long nose FW190D / TA’s.

We both chose to create these aircraft (from the legendary designer Kurt Tank) not because we felt they were money-makers, but because we are passionate about them. However, our passion is not limited by aircraft choice but by precious manpower. We must choose wisely what aircraft we will invest in. We also must do our best to avoid accidentally developing the same aircraft because having talented people working independently on an identical project makes no sense.

We wish Mathias all the best with his 190’s and 110’s.

Scott.

Great news Scott and Mathias! It is fantastic that you can discuss the things between yourself and have an agreement.
Good luck to A2A and CH!:medals:

Thanks to your splendid mode of communication we get the best of all FW190 worlds.:applause: Really looking forward to those long noses!!!

This is great news and kudos to the developers for being able to cooperate this way.

I am very much interested in the Me 110 from Classics Hangar.

I also think (with no offense to Classics Hangar) that A2A's accusim system seems a natural fit for the long noses as they had the fancy engine boost systems like MW 50 (methanol-water) and GM-1 (nitrous oxide).

I look forward to both offerings.

I was really, really, really looking forward to the and Accu-Simmed Fw190 Anton. :frown:

Glad to see there is a nice camaraderie between the developers though.

Smart decision, Scott and Matthias. This kind of policy increases long-term viability of developers. I'll buy them both (already have the early CH Antons).

Let me add this was really a no-brainer.
It took an E-mail and a phone-call.
We thought we serve the community best by doing it this way.
Hopefully it'll be an example for other devs to better coordinate their effords.
Oh, and I'm looking forward to flying the Longnose!
Thanks everyone for your great support!

Great news - looking forward to both - meanwhile off to fly your excellent A-3 again.

Hi again Mathias - any predictions on how soon we will see the BF 110?
