A2A Dutch Spitfire fun

I know not the real-life Spitfire model :rolleyes: (Mk1a instead of MkIX)

But the A2A aka Shockwave model is such a pleasure to fly, so i decided to make some Dutch repaints. Also redone the pilot texture. :cost1:

Should i release it? :salute:

Why not Marcel? Its a lovely livery and there are always people who like it even if its on the wrong aircraft. If you can make just one person happy, that should already be sufficient reason to upload....

not native, but I love spits, can never have enough and I particularly like the dutch scheme with the unusual anti-glare patch, but it's the blue spinner and fin flash that seals it for me, just suits the plane so well.

PS. it's also a fine excuse to put more spits in my Silverwings install, the cut-off for my goldenwings is 1945/6.

Talking about Dutch Spitfires.... Spitfire BM354 VL-A "Malang" from "Dutch" 322 squadron, June 1943 Woodvale.

RobH was so kind to share his excellent paintkit for Bruno's beautiful Spitfire Mk.Vb with me. All credits should go to RobH and Bruno as they did an excellent job. My work so far has not been more than putting some letters and markings in an already excellent paintkit and on a marvelous canvas!

Cees have you ever considered to do a 1943 version of Woodvale?

anyone got the paintkit for this bird (A2A Spitfire), it made me dig mine out and want to paint :icon_lol: while on the paintkit scrounge... the P-51D also... both used to be in the archive and working if i recall but they've gone AWOL be great to have them back in the library :ernae:

Hi Fleurdelys,

This repaint is one of a serie of (Dutch) 322 sqn repaints I did for the Brunosk Spitfire, however I must confess I never completely finished them and therefore they are still not uploaded.........:redf: :redf:

Perhaps I will be able to finish them soonish and put them in the library here.
