A2A Nav lights for the Alabeo Waco?

Roger

Senior Administrator
Anyone done A2A nav lights for the Alabeo Waco. I have the landing/ taxi/vc lighting as A2A but not the navs.

Thanks in anticpation...

I know they're modelled in and so no reference points are listed, so if no one else has done them I'll give it a go by trial and error, but may take a while because a great deal of patience is needed.

Here's my rendition of the Waco with shockwave bits (and exhaust flames).

The Strobe lights are a bit problematic as the defaults flash at a very rapid rate which I can't change. So if they are are too much, just hash(//) them out.:cowboy:

Fabulous! Thanks very much :ernae:

.
The first thing that pops to mind is to ask whether you have Shockwave installed. Sounds like perhaps you don't.

I am unable to see the exhaust effects. I copied and paste above to the Aircraft.cfg and pust the exhaust effects files in the FSX Effects folders. Is there a particular version of Shockwave
that will make the exhaust visible. The landing lights are now on shockwave just the flames from the exhaust that I don't see.

here is my afct.cfg with regards to the lights:

//[LIGHTS] <<<< Original >>>>>
//Types: 1=beacon, 2=strobe, 3=navigation, 4=cockpit, 5=landing
//light.0 = 4, -1.9, 0.0, 1.9, fx_vclightalawc

[LIGHTS]
//Types: 1=beacon, 2=strobe, 3=navigation, 4=cockpit, 5=landing
light.0 = 4, -1.9, 0.0, 1.9, fx_vclightalawc
light.1 = 5, 2.30, -7.46, -1.36, fx_Shockwave_landing_light_tail_old
light.2 = 5, 2.30, 7.46, -1.36, fx_Shockwave_landing_light_tail_old
light.3 = 6, 2.30, -7.00, -1.36, fx_shockwave_landing_light_small_old
light.4 = 6, 2.30, 7.00, -1.36, fx_shockwave_landing_light_small_old

//------------ ExhaustFlames--------#2=strobe
//index,type, long, lat, vert, fx_filename
light.5= 3, 2.950, 0.70, -2.00, fx_V12_IDLE_starb,
light.6= 3, 2.950, 0.70, -2.00, fx_V12_MAX_starb,
light.7= 3, 2.950, 0.70, -2.00, fx_V12_Exhaust,
light.8= 3, 2.950, -0.70, -2.00, fx_V12_IDLE_starb,
light.9= 3, 2.950, -0.70, -2.00, fx_V12_MAX_starb,
light.10= 3, 2.950, -0.70, -2.00, fx_V12_Exhaust,

//------------------- Nav Lights --------------
light.11 = 3, 2.43, -15.00, 3.73, fx_shockwave_navred_nl,
light.12 = 3, 2.43, 15.06, 3.73, fx_shockwave_navgre_nl,
//------------------- StrobesLights --------------

light.13 = 2, 2.03, -15.00, 3.73, fx_shockwave_strobe_nl,
light.14 = 2, 2.03, 15.06, 3.73, fx_shockwave_strobe_3_nl,

I then put the exhaust effect files in FSX/Effects.

So, no visable flames coming out of the exhaust pipes. I do see a tiny multicolored flashing light (pruple/red/yellow) blinking like a little aft of the exhaust pipes.

By the Grace of God, I was able to sort it out; guess this is like being on the freeway out of gas and everyone passes by and gawks/rubbernecks at you an they keep on moving with out any concerns. Took drastic measures and had to delete gobs and gobs of FSX files and then
reinstall EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING.
