This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Wings of Power III P-47D Thunderbolt, representing P-47D-21 42-25569 4K-R 'The Blond Angel', the aircraft flown by Major Hal Shook, the C.O. of the 506th FS/404th FG. He finished the war with 105 combat flights. When the 404th first converted to P-47's, it received a number of brand new bare metal 22 models, but also a number of older C and D models, in OD paint.
