This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Spitfire in the colors of Spitfire Mk IX MA504, which flew with No 9 and 41 squadron of the South African Air Force in Cyprus in 1944. 4 aircraft (MH931, MH993, MA504 and MA792) were stripped of paint and all excess weight in an attempt to bring down high flying German bombers, working in pairs.
