A380 at Manston

Not in service untill Sept, but based at Manston for a few weeks for testing and crew training, will also be making a flypast with the Red Arrows at RIAT on Saturday ( i have ticket for Sunday only ) , not really into tubes but i was impressed.

I'm working in Richmond this week, so we get stuff on final approach to Heathrow; the A380s always get everybody looking, it's an impressive chunk of technology (damn quiet too) .... oh, and no battery problems either!! ;-)

i'll be there from Friday Lunchtime till Monday Night... it's the only days i get 'off' in a year, and even then not really off due to being volunteer staff...
