Didin't they have wing walkers?

Those A380 pilots are probably still not used to that huge wing span. Here is a clip of the 747-8i' entrance.
PS. No buildings were harmed in the making of this film. :icon_lol:

This A380 has now been repaired, apparently, and will be on static display at Le Bourget. A Korean Airlines example will take part in the flying display.

Tough Wing...

Not engine fire, nor building, can take on the A380 wing and win... ;)

Haven't gotten used to seeing a Boeing in almost-Air Berlin corporate colour, I did like the previous blue.
Still, an impressive bird, the 747-8.

Boeing has a major headache in the A320neo...the 737 undercarriage is too short to allow a bigger fan.
It already has used up all Boeing's ingenuity in that amazing squashed nacelle.
They need a new airframe design, which is a problem given the 787 is hogging resources.

I believe Boeing announced that they were going to design a 737-replacement about a year ago. Obviously, it got the backburner trying to fix the 787. Perhaps they'd be better off waiting until the 787 is on track and cutting it down.
