Mksystem,

Looking good there, my friend! Keep up the good work!

By using a Alpha on A6M5c_Zero_c2.bmp you can remove the gun from the VC as well. (If that removes the wrong one try A6M5c_zero_c6.bmp)

Hi Allen,
I try to remove the left gun in the VC both ways.
1) Using an alpha chanel in the A6M5c_Zero_c2.bmp that cover the Gun in the bipmap. As you can see, that make "holes" in the VC view...

2) painting the gun aera in green in the A6M5c_Zero_c2.bmp,. as you can see, the gun is still here but in unicolor green...

In both cases, the résults are not very nice...
May be the good way to remove the left gun is to remove it in the mdl flile, but this is far beyond my skills...

Thanks for the panel

Thanks for the skins

The alpha needs to only cover the gun. Also try saving 555-1 format. Some formats don't work right can cut every thing out behind them like in your screen shot. I'm not sure 555-1 is the right one but one listed in the DXTBmp will work right.

Hi Allen,
Thanks for your advice.(I learn everyday...)
I made an alpha that cover only the gun in the "A6M5c_Zero_c2.bmp" and save the file in 555-1, then no more "big" holes in the VC view that looks close to the 2D panel by mksystem.

Althought, I can't get rid of two small holes (in red in the pict) wich are colored in the VC view by the gun drawing of the"A6M5c_Zero_c2.bmp". If I let some part of the gun out of the alpha chanel, the holes are painted in gray, but some sections of the gun come back in the VC view ... (I suppose that aeras of the gun drawing are used to color this small sections in the mdl file ?)
Cheers

You may wan to get the A6M5c_Zero_c2.bmp from Beepee and include it with your panel.

mksystem (and Allen)
Hre are the zip files to get a VC panel with one gun
The "$VCpan_L.bmp" goes in the panel folder and replaces the file with the same name
The "A6M5c_Zero_c2.bmp" goes in the texture folder and replaces the file with the same name

Your welcome!

For those wondering why I didn't remove the gun my self. I didn't so the model could be used for the A6M5c that had the 7.7mm. It could be added back to the DP. Also some reports of A6M5c's with 2 7.7mm in the nose like earlier Zero had as well.
