acapella?

those guys, and extremely cute gal..are great anyway..ive loved them since they did the song with just the one guitar, that was so great..right up there with the lumineers and carolina chocolate drops in my book...

I've always been an acapella and body music fan.

I still remember the first time I heard Bobby McFerrin...(long before "Don't Worry"). The kid doing the vocal percussion and backup is really versatile.
Thank you for posting this.

Returning the favor. It's not acapella but if you like tenors...you'll love this.
If you don't mind I'd like to share with you this absolutely inspiring video...watch all the way through and you will be moved.

I would really like to have heared them sing without all of the background cheering. They were outstandingly good together. I note that Simon is still acting his snarky self... :applause:

Back in reference to the first video...
"Walk Off The Earth" is a pretty talented band.
They've done some great videos over the past year to smartly bring some attention to their artistic endeavours.

Here is one where they all play "Somebody That I Used to Know" on one guitar:
(All in one take BTW...)

Here's another one from "Walk Off The Earth" they released a couple days ago.
Maybe it's the acoustic guitars, the harmonizing, or the fact they have so much fun with their music, but I already love this one...
Please watch. :cowboy:

I've seen the video of all of them playing the same guitar. That was pretty cool, but I didn't know who they were then, and I didn't connect that video with this one at the time of this posting. I've since looked at some of their other videos, and none of it jumps out at me. This one, of the Taylor Swift song, is fascinating. I love great harmony among voices (see The Eagles), and the fact that everything you hear in that video is done with voices is astonishing! And there is a lot of subtle funny stuff going on, like when the camera shakes at a couple of appropriate “crescendo” points, and the long hair guy flips his mic in the air, (and catches it!) And the way she looks at each of them as they “rise up”. And her voice is amazing. That's what "being able to sing" sounds like...

Hey All,

That was frickin brilliant! Loved it as I bet Taylor Swift did.

Another video I love and I'll see if I can find it is the one where different people are doing the same song as Walk Off the Earth did on the guitar only they are doing it it on Ukelele - and it sounds great.

This is good stuff! The creativity of people never ceases to amaze me.

I like mine Straight - No Chaser

The Hoosiers in the crowd need this:

While the videos are good, they are much better when seen live. I heartily recommend you see them if they have a tour stop near you,

I followed up the other videos of this couple. They came second in the final to ...... wait for it ........ A PERFORMING DOG. Cute but I ask you the general public! ..... we used to weed out the chaff by having wars, sadly that is no longer an option.
