Acceleration carriers don't show up???

I was playing with Dino's Tomcat. I took it for a spin around my hometown to get the feel of it, decided it was time to try trapping on a carrier.

I went to the time and place that the default carrier is supposed to show up near San Fran. No sign of the boat.

I went to Honolulu at the right time to find it near Ford Island. Again, no sign of it.

I went and downloaded Reider's Saudi, Plymouth, and Aegean carriers. Installed them, went to each nearby city, again no sign of any of them, but the GPS marker is there.

I tried using each as the start of my free flight, when I do that, I start about 20' off the surface of the ocean going 200mph where the carrier should be, but no carrier to be found.

Anybody have any ideas what's going on? I have Acceleration installed. I can't recall if I've done any Carrier Ops since I reinstalled Vista, but I'm sure all the default carriers and Reider's static carriers worked before that...

I get the feeling it's just that somehow the model have disappeared out of my FSX install, but IDK...
 
THis could be a long shot....do you have the ships slider turned all the way right? I turned the slider off one day and all my carriers where missing then found out what I had done. Hope its as simple as that otherwise others will be here to help.

Sure enough, I had turned ships down all the way and completely forgotten about it.
