Active Camera DOA?

I reformatted my hard drive and am reinstalling everything. With AC, the key that I have for some weird reason doesn't work. So I got on the Anticyclone site and there were two contact emails. Tried them one after the other and both bounced. Does anyone have any info on this? Great program so it would be a shame if it's gone.

Rich try copying that contact address and then start an E-mail to them using that copied address.

That's what I had to do several months back when I found the click link would not work. Hope that helps you out.

I recieved contact from them that way, using the copied address to send them an e-mail.

Even though these will probably be highlighted as clickable links you probably have to copy the address and paste it into the, "send to" addresss of the e-mail you send.

Here are the three addresses I know of and I am not real sure but it may be the 3rd on at the bottom that Serge Baye used in responding back to me, not completely sure about that. Only help I can offer is try the three below and see if he e-mails you back. They do seem hard to get a hold of, but I had contact with them about 8-10 months back seeking a new key number.

contact : active.camera@anticyclone.be
support : support@anticyclone.be

Thanks but as I said that's what I did. I copied/pasted the email into the one I sent. They both bounced. Neither got to them.

Still there!

Rich12545, just was there and purchased a new FS9 install for my system. The key was emailed to me within ten minutes of paypal payment. Works well. Not sure about support however. Take care and enjoy.

better be careful. someone's going to come along and chew you out for posting someone's contact email address on here. i know, it happened to me.

Yeah I was just thinking about your incident last night John. All three of those AC addresses came off of the AC website and I see one more address that I thought might help Rich out but looked like a personal address to Serge but I obtained it from off of the AC website links.

AC or Serge Baye ought to make themselves more easier to contact for customer support. I have heard many others that have had a hard time getting product support and some that bought the product and never could get it up and running and simply considered it their loss. A sad way to handle business IMO. It is a very good thing to have for FS but it should be made an easy product to install, access, and to get support. Better yet AC should have found a way to not make it so restrictive to previous purchasers or even better would have been if they could have made a deal to sell it to Microsoft and would have been a standard part of FS9 and included with FS9. That said, previous purchasers of AC should not have to go through Fort Knox security to access what they have purchased. But it is a very useful product. It is sad the support has to be like passing a kidney stone.

To Rich. Try this one.

I see one more address that comes up from off of the site Rich.

Not sure if the ---> ; <-- is supposed to be included on the end of the contact address, but here is a 4th address that you can try clicking and if that doesn't work copy and paste it as the address to try to send an e-mail to. Don't forget that the (;) may or may not be supposed to be on the end. I'm thinking the ; is not part of the address, because if you backspace it out, it still remains lit up as a link address. Try it both with and without as the e-mail address, and also simply try just clicking the link. When I click it a "Windows Live" box comes up ready for the typing of a message to send.

That last email addy worked. From his reply the others should have worked but maybe there was some sort of temporary problem. Thanks for that. Problem solved
