hey all,
i live in auburn california..i live on the side of a high ridge and im about 2 miles from the auburn airport..i can see the property and the beacon light and other lights at the airport from my windows...i can also see the lincoln airport 9miles west of me and there beacons....on a good day with my high powered spotting scope i can see planes on the runway and on the apron at lincoln...my point is..i know when its raining or not at both airports...the past two days weve had 2.71" of rain..well from noon yesterday accually....its been raining continuasly and heavy...fairly...but i turned on active sky evolution..it came up..showed kaun..(auburn) and said it was partly cloudy and no precip...i ran it again cause i couldnt believe it..same thing..so i shut it down and used linclon as the default...no go..same thing..partly cloudy and no precip....went back to kaun got the same but started FSX and then started at kaun only to see brite sunshine..went out and found active sky sitting at the default fsx flight...(cant think of what it is now darn it)...where the ultralite thing starts midair....but it was no longer at kaun....why?.....

i also lost my soound..this has happened several time..start FSX and my sound goes away....

but i rebooted my pc started fsx without active sky and used the realworld weather and got heavy skys..whatever that means...fog but still no rain ....ive never seen rain in FSX....will it rain?
