Decided to do a nice updated and upgraded Bf110 for CFS2...at least I'm gonna try. Working on the new small parts and animations now....got a ways to go. Starting with Gurzeka's fine old FS2000 source file, I'm gonna do the standard C model first. :typing:

Flaps are...

...giving me a fit. They have radiator and engine nacelle parts attached and the animation is taking some time to get right.

The gear bays and doors are also gonna be tricky, and the canopy animation a real nightmare. No wonder none of the 110s available have opening canopies. But this one will.

The Germans could build some great aircraft, but they should have outsourced their landing gear and canopies....cause they suck in those departments. :barf:

Sacre' bleu, Blackhawk! Take it easy, Pierre! Stanislaus, please get Pierre a cool, refreshing beverage of his choice...preferably with a little higher proof than the wine he's been sipping. We'll get him a government program. :typing:

Caught a break...

...on the gear bays...they had an interior door that closed-off the bay behind the main gear as it deployed. Kept the dirt and grim out. :engel016:

The canopy is a different matter, with 5 different panels opening. :faint:

I happen to politely dissagree there.:wiggle:
The GC Bf110's are fully animated.

More targets:applause::applause:.Cant wait to kill em TR.

OH and I might even fly her aswell.

Yes!, Mathias your Me110 are of great quality but there is always room for improvement. Thank you for your work on your Me110.I use them all the time.

TR thank you for your dedication to our community!:amen:

Great to see you Mathias.

My ETO CFS 2 is all the better because of all the nice ships and planes that you and the Ground Crew made.

....as scarce as hens' teeth in CFS2. Where are you hiding it? I can't believe I missed it....must be getting senile. (Actually I spent too many years hanging out in Korea with Doug/Grumpy/Hagar. It was a far friendlier place.)

If it's that good, I don't need to be doing this one. :faint:

Looking forward to it TR, but man, the detail of that GC_110 will be tough to beat with Gurzeka's old FS2000 source as the baseline. It should be good for frame counters though and a worthy addition for the hangars.

You know...

...me too well, oh cat who is constantly in a foul mood (Bear). :faint:
FPS rules!!!!!! :a1451:

If you want to build scale models and spend all your time outside the cockpit admiring your work and watching the cowl flaps move and the paint dry....go buy a kit. :costumes:

Good advice, but the truth is that even with all of its charm, the GC_110 and all other varieties have spent more time in my gunsights than strapped to my ass as a player mount. I'm with RCC, so a new frame-friendly choice would be great for creating a target-rich environment.

Will no one....

...tell me where I can find this CFS2 GC Bf110? The only one I know of is for CFS3. :friday:
