Add-ons released in pairs, how do they compare?

Stearman

SOH-CM-2023
Interestingly enough, about one month ago two Paris Landmarks add-ons were released almost simultaneously, one by Orbx, the other one by Prealsoft.

A few days ago, two Piper PA-28R Arrow III (exactly same type!!) were released almost simultaneously too, one by Carenado, the other one by Just Flight.

I've been looking for comparative reviews in both cases, but haven't found any.
Any info on the matter would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance, best regards.

The trend to release add-ons in pairs seems to go on. Now the Sptifires!!
(Well, not EXACTLY the same type this time, but similar enough, I'd say...) :)

You have to remember that commercial devs' business plans are laid in isolation of each other and well-ahead of any release dates. There are no and should be no "monopolies" on what type or variant one develops. As a dev, you need to develop titles which interest you and are a pleasure to build. The work that goes into MSFS products is just too great to do otherwise. They also need to be subjects you know people will buy. Obscure titles are commercial suicide. We have been building Spitfres for over 20 years and we're not going to stop now. Variety is coming - in spades. Just wait and see.:engel016:

100% agreed, of course :applause:
Just found somehow funny so many coincidental pairs in a short time period.
