:wave: Hi everyone !

I have a question .
I have Cfs2 and want " BOB 1-2-3 " parts of one named Russ .
I have tryed to install those parts , but everytime I push the "FLY NOW "
button , a pop up annoying window says " Error Dornier17 " or something like that.What does it mean .
Can someone explain it easy to me how to install those add-ons .I am not so good with stuff like that

It just means, that you miss that particular plane in your "aircraft" file. You will see, that it says "error finding the model" and then it says exactly which plane it is you are missing. In the read-me file that is in the download, you already have, you will also find a list of the needed planes and even where to find them. Enjoy the campaign - it is very good.

Welcome to the Forum, StarLion45,

I think you need the Do17z2.zip from Steve Seybolt (I don't remember a link for it) but anyway you can install the excellent Do 17z from Thicko found here at the Outhouse (http://www.sim-outhouse.com/index.p...oadName=thickosehaskel&ammm=15&pap=2#download and the update http://www.sim-outhouse.com/index.p...nloads&FileUploadName=thickosehaskel#download and change the aircraft folder name from Dornier Do-17Z to Dornier_Do17z2 if this is the name appearing in your error message.
If you have already installed the Dornier be sure his folder name is the same as the name appearing in the mission: open the mission with notepad and search near the end for an entry like

[unit_type.x]
type_id=3801
unit_family=x
name=Dornier Do-17Z or a similar name

This has to be the name for your plane folder

Or you can change the the AC of the mission through the mision Builder or you can get this utility call mk_cfs2_util_v2.zip
Which can do this Here's an updated version(V2) of my MK_CFS2_UTIL for CFS2.Tried to fix some reported bugs (..without making new ones!) and added some new options. 1. Campaigns/Missions This makes it very easy to swap in and out your favourite aircrafts in the campaigns/missions. At the same time it gives you a quick overview of unidentified/missing aircrafts. Now you can do the same with Ships. Also, check or change allegiance, aircraft type/category. 2. Aircraft orgenizer This is one alternative for orgenizing your aircrafts in different "war-theaters" to keep the number of planes inside the CFS2 limits. Create as many theaters as you want. Optional automatic updating of aircrafts in Quick Combat.

Welcome to the Outhouse. The BOB campaign that you are working with is very popular, but at the same time very problematic. It all has to do with the lack of detail in the "readme" file.

Stiz, one of our long time members posted these fixes a few years ago for the campaign:

"These are the errors that are included in the campaign and how to fix em:
1, You will need to install the cfs2bob.zip available in the CFS2 Scenery at SOH (haven't checked here) to get the buildings round the airfields
2, You will need a panel folder in the Dornier_Do17z2. I just used the one from the Stuka so that it'll show
3, You need the Bri_Pilot so you don't get an error when the games loading the Hurricane. Its not urgent but its a good thing to have.
4, You need the YAS_Pack to have all the gauges displayed in the 2D and 3D panels. It can be found in the CFS2 Aircraft section at SOH at the bottom
5, The dp in the Ju 88A-14 needs fixing so the weapons will load. All you need to do is go down the payloads section and get rid of the "wep_" (without quote marks) bit.
6, Get the YAS_MK1_Fix to fix the spit. Can find it in the CFS2 Aircraft section at SOH.
7, You will need a Blenheim and name it raf_blenheim for the campaign to load mission ** (cant remember the number)
8, The BF109 doubles when shot down, just go through the dp and get rid of the numbers after the BREAK lines in effects.
I know that there's more cos i had a list for it..
