Ragnar,
I run Vista Ultimate 64bit and have added quite a few aircraft to my CFS3 installations....I usually download and extract the zip file to my desktop since I have 5 variations of CFS3 and usually want to install the aircraft to all of them. Once extracted, I open the containing folder to be sure it contains the list of files needed for the aircraft and not simply another single folder that needs opened to show those files, if you have the folder inside a folder in the game files, it will not recognize the new addition at all. Once I have the folder I need, I copy and paste it to (in my system) "C:\program files (x86)\Microsoft Games\CFS3 ETO Expansion\aircraft" or whichever version or expansion you are headed for with it. Then open the aircraft folder, find the folder you just copied there and open it, if there is a pylons or weapons folder inside, copy the contents to their respective folders in the game files. Run the BDP zapper that either came with the expansion or you downloaded from SOH or AV History, the game will not see the changes to your aircraft folder if you don't....and start the game up....your new aircraft should be available
You could also extract the zip folder you downloaded directly to your aircraft folder in CFS3, but you'll want to check and make sure it is the folder with the aircraft files like I said above, and the same instructions for the weapons, pylons, and BDP zapper apply...
Hope that helps you....
