ADLABS 6 TURBO-PROP AIRLINER PANEL KIT

vonernsk

SOH-CM-2022
Purchased the above kit, for FS9,FSX and P3D. Produced by ADLABS 6 and downloaded from fspilotshop.com. It gives you a 2D only, self-install and self-tweak panel, suitable for the Raytheon/Beech range of medium twin turbo-prop airliners.

Very nice instruments and a good basic turbo-prop start up sequence (subject to the air file you utilise). It has a number of blank window slots to enable the addition of whatever goodies or instrument favourites you cannot fly without.

I have been adding an auto-pilot window and gauges, which should have been a doddle. However, the window appears OK but giving the appearance of being outside of the a/c, ie only viewable through the windows of the panel BMP.

Am a very non-tech or graphics savvy individ and any advice on how to get the window to appear inside the main panel window, would be much appreciated.

I used to run into this when converting fs2k and cfs2 panels to fs9. It usually involved the presence of an entry of this sort in the panel config:

render_3d_window=1
or
render_3d_window=0

If the 1's and 0's are not configured properly betwwen window entries you might get what you are seeing. If you have any of those entries in your panel config try commenting them out, all of them. FS9 seems to work fine without them most of the time. I think earlier sims needed them to properly "stack" the views.

Tks for the reply pfflyers. Unfortunately none of the panel windows have the render 3D entry. However, they all do have a last line which I have not come across before. They read:

'zorder=0' or 1 or 2 or 3 etc in no particular order. ie [window23] is 'zorder=1'; whilst [window22] is 'zorder=3'.

Still working on it.

Tks again
