I was flying my usual daily CFS 2 discipline Hellcat carrier landing Friday evening. Came in too hot, too high because of distractions. Got waved off, gunned the throttle, bounced once, continued throttle and then arrested safely. My left hand was shaking. Applications ...

Nice one. I have had that happen here and there.Far as shaking, it happens.Fly a mission in real time(or even accelerated time, still takes a bit usually), survive dogfight, bombing run etc then manage to locate the carrier, land with damage, definitely causes a little rush for us keyboard jockeys eh? lol Most recent while was testing a TF 58 mission I created, June 11, 1944 sweep over Saipan. Flying F6F5, downed 3 Zeros, shot up 6 more on ground.127 MM hit me while pulling up from the field.Engine running rough, spewing smoke for a minute, controls shot.Figured would make it feet wet then ditch near the rescue sub(which I added, ends mission when ditched) but decided to head for carrier since gained control and engine was okay as long as keep RPM's at 2100 or below. Made it back to carrier, had to manually pump gear, no flaps. When was in pattern all was well until I sailed over the stern ready to cut, lost control, managed to slam the plane down, bounced, caught a wire, both tires flat.

I've been testing my WWI upgrades. In these old birds you tend to get very close. Sometimes too close.

On my last hop I was flying a rework of the Fokker E III. I was chasing down this Bristol Scout. He was making me work rather hard. Well he did some weird maneuver and I tried to roll in after him. Lets just say E IIIs are not the best Kites to roll. So it didn't go as planed. He decided to pop back up and nearly clipped my wing. Instinctively I ducked. I hear my wife laughing in the kitchen because of the "Oh Crap" that came out of the den.
