Hi Friends,
The first batch of the new project is ready :
The "Hybrid" version (C.202 converted into C.205), two different GMax models.
A) - A/C converted after Italian Armistice (8 September 1943) used by Italian Cobelligerent Air Force.
B) - A/C converted in the Postwar period, used by Royal Egyptian Air Force and Aeronautica Militare Italiana (Italian Air Force), with different gunsight (S.Giorgio "C" Type, with double night/day reticle) and radio antenna.
Now I started to work on 1st Series planes (the first "real" '205) with 7.7 MGs in the wings and retractable tailwheel....

Here are some "Screenshots" of the "Hybrids" from Huub Vink (THANK YOU HUUB !!!!)

Nice! I've been waiting patiently (well I lie, I've been pacing endlessly) waiting for this series. WooHoo!

Guys really no need to thank me. I just did what you all would have liked to do. I flew a few patterns, made a few screenshots and supplied Manuele some feedback.

Sometimes life isn't more complicated than that :icon_lol:

Cheers,
Huub

Shaggy

Hi Shaggy,
After the Veltro's release (I think during October) I'll be involved in the new Milton Shupe's project, the three engined bomber C.R.D.A. Cant.Z 1007 Alcyone, after this, during 2013, I planned to work on a Reggiane Re 2001 Falco II and a Junkers Ju.87 D (Dora) , both based on incomplete Luca Festari's/Italianwings projects (I have ONLY the external unfinished models).

OMG - we are going to get a Stuka from Manuele:applause::applause::applause:

The only downside I can see is that we will have to wait a year:mix-smi::mix-smi::mix-smi:

Manuele, a great model as always! Sadly not much different repaint option..... For the Series III there are a few possibilities, like the German style grey scheme. But nearly all Vertro's were painted in light hazelnut with olive green "smoke rings".

Is there even a small chance there will be a Fiat G.55 Centauro in the same quality as these Veltro's?

Hi Huub,
"Unfortunately" ALL the C.205 of 1st Series were painted in light hazelnut with olive green "smoke rings".
The 3rd Series model is finished and I'm actually preparing 6 (SIX) 3rd Series liveries : 2 (TWO) A.N.R. a/c in light hazelnut with olive green "smoke rings", 3 (THREE) A.N.R. a/c in 74/75/76 (German Style) and 1 (ONE) A.N.R. a/c in "Herringbone" scheme (Final A.N.R. livery in light hazelnut with dark olive green diagonal bands).
Many times ago You said me You knew the author of CFS3/MAW G.55 (I don't remember his name) who was intentioned to give me his model for FS9 conversion, but then I was very busy with my projects (C.202,C.205), if he has still the same idea, please contact him for me.
I have many project in my mind (Cant.Z 1007, "Join venture" with Milton, Re.2000 and the Ju.87 D) but the '55 is always a "must".
I'll be at office until Friday 17 August and I'll back on Monday 17 September.

Wow Manuele, nothing wrong with your memory. Its very long time ago, but I think I still know who told me about this unfinished G.55. I will try to contact him and see what I can find....

Cheers,
Huub

Hi Friends,
Just a taste before ......
I'll back on Monday 17 September.

Very beautiful taste... Excellent skin to come... Huub and you, two talented painters for a piece of art... And small by small I discover your other works on the web, here and there...

Looks very nice Manuele, the Veltro looks good in grey! SOLOBO, this time I have nothing to do with it. :icon_lol:

Cheers,
Huub
