Aeroplane Heaven free downloads

I see that aeroplane heaven has released some more free downloads including the lav9. I have not flown cfs3 in a couple of years but I remember the lav9 as a good fighter plane.
 
thanks for the HU - now I can fly the Aussie Boomerang (I may even have to dust the cobwebs from my brain and remember how to make a ground attack mission for PTO)

Do you need to install all La9's? Also, with the boomerang, there is no designated weapons folder as per other aircraft, does it need to be renamed c13? See Weapons folder.

Just making sure these aircraft don't stick me with an empty game like the schmitfire is all.

I have installed ALL, including the LA9s.
I have NO problems
 
On the Boomerang the readme notes a separate download for the weapons folder, but I don't see it on their site anywhere.

The Weapons folder came with the auto install.

BTW: Thanks Emile the La's look and feel great!

However I'm having a spot of trouble with the Boomerang. The Weapons Folder contains three files all of which are 318Liter droptank files. In the game when I select a wepons loadout like 500lb bombs the sim crashes. How do you install these files properly and as Major Magee said, are there any other files needed for this plane to take on a bomb load and function properly?

How are the droptank files loaded into the weapons folder? Should a new folder be created and renamed or just drop the files 'as is' into the weapons folder?

Emile, its a really nice fighter to have, but should I delete it until you get an answer or keep it and run 'clean' settings for all three aircraft?
 
Check the XDP for the required Bomb, if you don't have it in the Weapons folder then change the Loadout to a Bomb (Of the same weight) you do have in the Weapons folder..That will stop the crashing..
I Have loaded the AH aircraft without any crashing..
But I have a expanded weapons folder in one of my Adavanced CFS 3 set ups. and also in the other various expansions..

Open the XPP with notepad or word or the like program..And scroll to the Loadouts and you will see which bomb is called that you need..And you can change it..
 
Interesting, when I used the Boomerang self extracting program there was no associated weapons folder created.
 
With the Boomerang, after manually installing, you can create a folder entitled "c13_droptank_318L", place the droptank files in, and then place that folder in the CFS3 Weapons folder. The tank appears. The rest of the ordinance and pylons seem to be stock, so the game shouldn't (and for me) doesn't crash when the bombs are selected.

The Lavochkins' ordinance, however, is not visible. It's there, just not visible. The bombs, when selected, will magically drop out of the fuselage or wings. Wish there was some way to fix that issue.

Thanks for the advice my Boomerang works fine now. The La's will have to hunt without bombs until the issue is sorted out.
 
Hi, the la9 also appears under germany. where do you make the change so it shows under Russia. I ujse ETO 1.2 with the nek alreadyinstalled.
