Aeroplane Heaven Goodyear F2G-1 tailwheel

Hello gang,

I'm a big fan of this rare Corsair, but I find it impossible to taxi - simply following the taxiways to runways is impossible. Is there a way to engage the tailwheel so it will turn more easily?

Thanks,

dl

ps: is there a replacement texture for the prop?

The tail wheel is configured to be scale, full castoring, to be steered with differential braking. To change it to steerable, do this in the aircraft cfg, under contact points:

point.0 = 1, -18.8913, 0, -5.0749, 2165.354, 0, 0.551, 180, 0.25, 2.5, 0.69, 6, 6, 0, 173, 178

Change the BOLD number to no more than 90. 55-70 is better, not so touchy, but you can't make a square turn. Experiment.

I don't know if there is a texture change for the prop, but the one white blade is correct for that aircraft. (I assume you're talking the racer.)
There is a replacement to use in FSX, but I don't have mine loaded, right now, so don't know if it will work.
