People,

Aeroplane Heaven, one of the foremost purveyors of quality flightsim addons has release the Early Years addon. It includes the prototype and the early Mk.I with the two blade prop.

Cheers,

Jan

Oh wow, looks amazing. They were basically the authors of the Just Flight Spitfire prototype for FS9, weren't they? A new K5054 has been a long time coming.

Spitfire-The Early Years is now available in the MarketPlace. Includes the Mk1A, so three aircraft in the MP package and of course XBox ready.

I purchased it through the ORBX Direct App and there's a download for MSFS 2024 as well there. Marketplace is way overpriced.

The price on MarketPlace includes the Mk1A which you have to purchase separately elsewhere. hence the price. On Marketplace you get three separate aircraft.

Yes, that is why there are two pack versions. The main reason for including the Mk1A on the MarketPlace is that it has never been sold there before and it gives people the opportunity to buy at a special price.

I wonder how far along allied aviation would have been at the start of the Second World War without the Schneider Cup, Bendix, and Cleveland National Air races...it makes a feller shudder to think of it.
This early mark Spitfire from AH looks so good...as an avid aviation enthusiast I feel like I'm breaking the law by not already owning this kit.
