Like so many, I lost the lot and I'm starting again. I know I should know this, but how to I begin a flight with the engine off?
Other similarly newbie questions will doubtless follow.
Easiest way is to set up your plane where you want it...turn everything off....save it as a flight... and then just load the flight up when you want it... I think this is what you want... give 'er a try..

I usually use Ctl+C to quit a flight. That saves whatever state your a/c was in as your previous flight. You can cut the the engines on a hard stand and then start from there. If you want to change back to starting engines on just Ctl+C with the engines on. You can also stop halfway through a flight and resume it though you may have to reset the time.
Thanks, I knew it was something like that. I think I was trying to save my flight as default from within the flight rather than from the create screen. Anyway, it's working now. On to the next problem!
