VMF24D is or was a real life aircraft. My paint is based on one low quality photo of this particular aircraft. Very little is known about it, and the real world registration is a mystery.

This is the only information I was able to find:

"A tribute to Pappy Boyington's renegade pilot squad VMF 214. ...."Corsair" agtruck is VMF24D (24D being a pesticide).

Thanks guys! As it happens I just uploaded a refurbished version. Some new info came up regarding this aircraft. I added arrows to wings and the base color is now darker and greener blue. People who fly without ENB should now have less washed out appearance of this aircraft. And while I was at it, I also tweaked the camo grey pattern to a smoother shape.
