I've just installed Prepar3d V3 and all works well. Then I installed the AH Flying Fortress and now when I exit the sim I get this message

Content errors have been detected. See the log: users\ Me\Documents\prepar3D v3 Files\contentErrorLog.txt

and these are

[error.0]
error=Found Duplicate Key Name
File:F:\Prepar3d V3\Effects\fx_ah_b-17_engstart.fx
Section:particleAttributes.0
Key:Extrude Length

[error.1]
error=Found Duplicate Key Name
File:F:\Prepar3d V3\Effects\fx_ah_b-17_engstart.fx
Section:particleAttributes.0
Key:Extrude Pitch Max

[error.2]
error=Found Duplicate Key Name
File:F:\Prepar3d V3\Effects\fx_ah_b-17_engstart.fx
Section:particleAttributes.0
Key:Extrude Heading Max

[error.3]
error=Found Duplicate Key Name
File:F:\Prepar3d V3\Effects\fx_ah_b-17_engstart.fx
Section:particleAttributes.1
Key:Extrude Length

[error.4]
error=Found Duplicate Key Name
File:F:\Prepar3d V3\Effects\fx_ah_b-17_engstart.fx
Section:particleAttributes.1
Key:Extrude Pitch Max

[error.5]
error=Found Duplicate Key Name
File:F:\Prepar3d V3\Effects\fx_ah_b-17_engstart.fx
Section:particleAttributes.1

Anyone any ideas what's going on?

Mike

Looks like there's duplicate entries in the fx_ah_b-17_engstart.fx file.
3 options.

1. Ignore it, it's not a problem as such.
2. Edit the file to remove the duplicate entries.
3. Turn off content error logging.

I noticed this, too. Apparently the content error logging is turned on by default in V3.

You can turn it off in the prepar3d.cfg by setting the value of the following parameter to zero:

ContentErrorLogging=1

ContentErrorLogging=0

The error would have been displayed in v.2.x also if the logging had been turned on, so it's nothing v3 specific.

Cheers,
Mark
