AH Socata MS893 preview

I think several people have missed the point of this aircraft. Let's call it the Rallye. It is a rugged simple, STOL aircraft not necessarily a "trainer" If you like low and slow flying and ability to get into backcountry strips you could do much worse than this.

This. Pretty much sums up what the thought process was in making it and flying it ( I've been flying New Zealand, airfield to airfield from north to south and it's a blast to just take in the scenery - btw some seriously good freeware scenery/mesh can be had in this area ). This is one of those developments where I've actually spent quite some time just flying it instead of working on it. :playful:

I dont think so ;), people interested in aviation (so sim fans) know that Socata or Morane Saulnier are companies. „Rallye” was produced also in Poland with French licence as PZL-110 „Koliber”.

btw. maybe good idea to add Rallye for the model as: AH MS.893 „Rallye”?

You could always produce you're own aircraft to suit you're own exacting standards YoYo and leave this one to the Professionals who know what they're doing.

I dont really understand what's going on?
Few people noticed here the name of the model as Company and numbers, not "Rallye" as you can see.
A little tradition of FS market (and perhaps its the law also) that better to use the name of the aircraft, not company.
It looks like "North American B-25", but on FS market we will see mostly "B-25 Mitchell" for example.

Just an update and 2 exclusive to SOH ( cos we know you fellas like warbirds - and this is sort of a warbird :playful: ) screenshots. Oh and unedited stock P3D V4.4 as usual.

We've updated the site to have a product page and more screenshots https://aeroplaneheaven.com/product_socata.php if you're interested.

Close now. The manual is taking more time than it really should ( learning a new programme to lay it out in ). And some little foolish blunders are being killed off.

BUT what does warpilots do in their free time? They fly on civil aircraft! :biggrin-new:

btw. please to check contact points (wheels are too much in the ground):

btw. about military version, it existed also for show (SOCATA RALLYE 235 GUERRIER) :- ) :

It looks like soon, I'm affraid You will release it when I will be at holiday :( pity! Dont rush ; ).

Thx for the news update.

To all :
The contact points are fine.

The shots were taken at the excellent freeware Boonah by antsairplanes. The contact points are fine. The parking area is on the side of the airfield where the scenery is a little too high. You know when you're at an addon airfield and your plane doesnt sit just right but you put up with it as the scenery is just really well made ? yep that :wink:! Even though I have to run a stock sim I still want a nice piece of scenery that is accessible to everyone to base screenshots at. The development itself always is done at a bone stock scenery airport where the contact points are fine. They are perfectly set.

Yoyo:
In future perhaps an email to us rather than a post into a public forum about something that isnt an issue at all? If you keep it civil we'll keep it civil. This probably will fall on deaf ears but again for the 50th time. if you have a genuine issue ( as it seems you do ) then email us, your genuine issue will be answered genuinely in a timely manner ( unless you are blocking our email which if you are .... you shouldnt :banghead: ). So again, email us.

Yoyo: In future ....

Nothing wrong to put info here especially that the model wasnt relesed yet.
If its the scenery issue - so no problem with this. Boonah isnt full compatible with P3Dv4, especially if You use ORBX AU v2 (differences in matching with MESH mostly) so best way is to change screenshots on product page which may be misleading, the same it was with preview of C140 and too short floats (on SOH Forum also before). Details, details, but I like details so sorry :playful:.
