AI aircraft lights / ground illumination problem

Hi guys,

I don't like the ground illumination on my AI planes, but I do like the lights on the aircraft such as tail illumination, passenger windows etc. Problem is, they are both linked into the ground illumination button in the scenery settings. Is there anyway of getting rid of the ground illumination but leaving the a/c lights on ?

Any help appreciated.

Can I remove the lighting effect for the ground illumination & if so, how ? It is rediculously bright and unrealistic. Is there a replacement effect that is much dimmer ?

Have you already tried this: http://library.avsim.net/search.php?SearchTerm=spotlight_enhancement.zip&CatID=root ?
You can try to dim it if you don't like it.

I will try it, those images look far better. My friggin lights are brighter than the sun !!!
