i did ti it by adding a airbas over the flight deck in airbases.dat.i had a flight of zeros takeoff after mr to attack pearl.

Yes, but a static carrier's deck, right?....do this with a carrier moving at standard aircraft launch speeds (25+ knots) and you get the CFS2 Medal of Honor :salute:

Bob, not to leave you hanging, for a single mission project its OK, but your idea sounds a little too complex for me personally, speaking as a campaign mission builder. Its the kinda thing i would have to allocate too much time to for constructing and fine tuning all the pieces for perfect timing on the spawns and all the movements, taking away from any detail work required on the other 25 or so missions i need to do for completing the campaign. But its Rami's project, so i defer to his opinion on your proposal.
 
it was moving,i lost a plane now and then,off the stern,but i was all good.i had to start engine and get moving asapa,otherwise if you take to long you start loosing planes.now wheres that medal?
 
Bearcat 241, I can see your point. It does take time and if you are doing 30 or 40 missions then you are looking at alot of time.

:ipepsi2: Whoa there professor, not so fast!....sounds like you still have some serious debugging to finish to claim a victory. Around here, you make it entirely functional for public use -- read proof -- or just keep it private....and private don't count for the MOH.

As you know, if its got a lot of holes, you'll just pi$$ off the average user...:pop4:

What I do is set the carrier speed to 30 kts, ...and then stagger the flights (sections or elements) in 1/2 nm intervals ahead of the carrier along it's path, ...with the first one to spawn at minute=1, the second at minute=2, ...etc...

The carrier will move underneath the launch position and the AC materialize low over the flight deck at minimum speed (set spawn to min. alt and speed) and looks like a deck T.O.

You can wait 5 minutes before the companion carrier begins its launch cycle, ...just locate the first element starting at 2.5 nm along the route and then the following ones every 0.5 nm after it.

If you spawn at minute=0 and launch at minute=1, ...that gives you a few minutes to get in place before the show starts.
