AI kill hogs?

For someone who has not play OFF2 and is waiting on OFF3 to arrive. All I know about it what I've read on here.

Seems like everybody is talking about the improved AI, and their skill of putting holes in your paper.

But with this improvement in AI, Do your AI control wingmen become kill hogs? And will I have to install a few pieces of lead in their butt, to let them know not to steal my goomer, that I just spent 10 mins and half my ammo on?

Nothing will piss you off more them working a guy over and having your wingman swoop in and steal your kill with one short burst. He does that one too many times, and he becomes a footnote in the history books.:caked:

What about when you do that to them? It's teamwork, you soften it for them, they soften it for you.

While Beta testing, I have been in front of my AI wingmen, and they have tried to shoot past me. But on the flip-side, I have been in a 10 minute dogfight, were the AI from both side simply watched. It's a little of both. Me personally, I take MvR's approach. Kill the weak ones, and let you AI build-up their skill while you watch over them.

BHaH is a different game everytime you fly it. You never know what is going to happen. But I would not say they are Kill Hogs, no.

... hey, you can always fly solo, then your sure no one will steal your kill.

You may not last to long either.

I haven't yet received OFF, but I've played RB3D for many years with mods by a lot of the OBD guys. I therefore have reason to believe that the OFF AI will be at least as nasty as in the older mods, if not worse. :help:

In that case, I actually WANT my wingies to be kill hogs. Otherwise, I'll be doing down in flames a lot more often than I want to :redfire:
