• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

Evening all,
sorry I have not been on forum for long time family probs.....bot hey ho!
My question is. I have recentley started using cfs1 again after a long abscence and purchased 'Air war- the cold war' aircraft and missions add on from just flight. The problem I am having is that a lot of the aircraft and the missions wont load and the program comes up with the 'corrupt or mis-installed file' message Does anyone have any idea how to overcome this....please?
I am running on win xp sp3 and my processor and graphics are well up to scratch.
Sorry if this is a simple problem and I'm just a bit thick but it is damn annoying.

the error message is usually because there is at least one aircraft or scenery object listed in the mission file not installed in cfs.
or, sometimes the aircraft or obect is installed, but the name is not exactly the same as in the mission file.

Thanks very much for the reply I never thought to do a check on file names etc... Must be a result of reaching the the big 50 in a few days, practising for me old age.
