Airco DH2 Missing from Kill Report

When flying QC against the Airco DH2, it isn't usually too hard to finish it off. When I get to the page where I fill out the kill report, the drop down list for A/C shot down does not include the DH2. I've been entering the name manually, but can't understand why it isn't on the list?

It's based on the date, and which craft where available in campaign etc. So you will sometimes need to choose "single seater" or whatever instead.

It may happen in campaign sometimes but just choose the other generic option then put the craft type in your claim details.

This is actually true to life. In early 1916, many German victories were listed as 'Vickers Type' or 'Pusher Type', giving reference to the Vickers Gunbus, which could have been the Fe2b, Dh2, Voisin, and a few others.

And many allied claims were for a "V-Strutter"......Albatross D III.

Yep whilst you can fly against any craft in QC - you cannot claim a craft that you may have selected that:

1) Is either not made yet at the date/time of your pilot

2) Is redundant (old no longer in service)

Why?

To stop you taking a DVII and killing hundreds of Fees or something....and becoming an MEGA ACE!
