Aircraft Permissions

I am in the testing stage of a new set of missions for MAW.

The Mission page can be found here: http://www.mrjmaint.tzo.com/cfs3/Missions/MAW.DefendSouda.html

In this mission set I am using several aircraft that were not originally in the MAW expansion. I would like to get permission to include these aircraft with my install package.

The aircraft are:

(1) B24 Strawberry Bitch by Nachtpiloten.

(2) B17F-97th BG built for MAW by PRang.

(3) FW190A-4 for MAW by MajorMagee.

(4) B25c MTO a repaint standalone by jaycee.

(5) MAW Tuskegee P-40 "Maxine".

I know there have permission issues before and I don’t want to offend anyone. Be sure on my site mission page and in my package documentation I will give the proper credit.

Thanks.

Another posibility would be to include the links to the downloads in the read me, if perrmision is not granted.

I know a number of mission builders do it this way.

Yes, this is the best thing to do:
- zip file is lighter and easier to download.

- no need to ask permission.

- most of the required aircrafts you have listed have already been installed by most of us.

It is easiest just to include the links to each item in the read me for the missions..
Each of the listed aircraft you have are common to many of the set ups our fellow simmers have loaded from missions in the past.. Each of the men listed also are always willing to allow their work used in missions without any problems..

Just place in your read me the links to each aircraft that are needed, and perhaps a Thanks to the authors doesn't hurt either..
Each of the authors listed have always been willing to allow their work to be showcased in missions without any problems..
They even are kind enough to allow a Hobbit to wreck them often in missions..:icon_lol:
The scenery in your pic at your site for this looks familiar think I have been here before..:icon_lol:

My thoughts and reasons for aircraft inclusion

My reason for wanting to include the aircraft in the package is to make the installation of the mission sets as Newbie proof as possible.

Yes I understand that most of us will have some or all of these aircraft already installed but someone new to MAW might not. A newbie won’t be as familiar with the games file structure and having to get the aircraft’s shared files, pylons, and weapons into the proper place and then if they have to associate a sound file might be intimidating. That is why I like to build my mission and campaign packages to have as few installation steps as possible.
