Aircraft type in air file

I know that player flyable planes are 0, but the options 1 and 2 are for what? I always thought 2 was for an AI plane or does it matter at all?

I guess if we go to extreme technicalities 2 doesn't mean an AI aircraft, but it certainly is one that the player can't select from the menu. If you manually put the name of a "2" defined aircraft in the uisel.xml you can fly it just fine.
