airfield missing in mb map

SOH-CM-2023
So while investigating the strange behaviour of the Stirling at 2 airfields in QC (an in a mission), I note that Bassingbourn is not appearing in the mb map in 2 installs whereas it appears in the regular ETO Era 2 mb map. The gsl entry and faciltiies are the same except the TOW install/Era facilties have runway lights added.
Ideas??

ETO Era 2 mb

TOW Era 1 and ETO/TOW 10 era (era 3 = ETO era2) installs

If the airfield appears in the GSL then try looking at the header of the facility, it should say 'isAirbase'.

So I experimented by putting in the ETO Bassingbourn in TOW Era 1; showed up. I added the following and it no longer showed up. I deleted that again and it showed up.:dizzy:

I can't see owt wrong with that James, must be one of those 3 models upsetting it. Try removing the Unit entries one type at a time.

Well it may have had something to do with <Unit Type="tk_radiolight_r" Position="-315.10 345.88" Angle="0.00"/> but works OK on all now.:dizzy:

Units= Vehicles

Hi James I might have a simple answer for this. I have the same problem with taxiing aircraft as vehicles. When testing in QC mode, spawning vehicles do not show up when taking off. It is not until I am flying some distance from the airbase that vehicles attached to paths suddenly pop up. If I start QC at 2500ft, it is a different story. All the units on paths are busy chundling around. Are your units in this thread located on paths? Perhaps CFS 3 treats runways and units close by in the same way.

Are you talking about the Stirling not taking off on Kenley but in the air, or the missing airfields in the mb map? (problem solved)
