Hi All

Just discovered this program through a few videos on Youtube, so decided to download and install to have a go see what its like...thats where the fun stopped :isadizzy:

Installed it fine but when I start the program up I get a red box asking to "choose FS version" but all I see is FSX greyed out and cant click anything but cancel :(
Tried re-installs, then tried the ADE-Check and all my FS9 routes appeared red, so I pointed it to my FS9.exe and it continued to appear red :isadizzy:
Downloaded the Flight 1 registry tool in case my reg had been messed up, executed that and it worked fine, tried ADE again and still the same problem

Any clues at all?

p.s FS9 was working fine before and after registry check

Thanks
Matt

A quick look at ADE's site, http://www.airportdesigneditor.co.uk/ade_011.htm, and perhaps you don't have Net Framework 3.5?
Go to Start/Control Panel/Add or Remove Programs and check Show Updates. Scan the list generated for Net Framework 3.5. These Frameworks can be missing and don't reveal that fact until a program needs it. If you do need it you can get it from MS or Filehippo or apparently through the ADE site, but beware it requires previous versions to install properly. I did a short tutorial for all the Frameworks if you need it.

Cheers guys

Checked all those and everything was as it should be so left it for an hour to watch football, came back to try again, clicked the exe and it loaded fine :isadizzy:

Sometimes I think computers do it on purpose :icon_lol:

Thanks
Matt

I leave a glass of water on the table near the computer desk. When the computer misbehaves, I move the water glass a little closer. The computer usually smartens right up.

May have to keep that trick in mind. Anyone know if it works with servers as well?
