If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Airport Sunset

Cool shot Tim.

Nice! dawn and dusk are my fav times of day.

Same here.. Nothing like the beginning of a new day.

Intriques me how the bright colors only last for a moment. If you become good at watching them, you can see the colors change. (Its so subtle that you dont really notice the changes going on). In like 5 or 10 min's, its over..

Ive been watching those stars lately. About 3 weeks ago, there was a cool alignment of them with the moon a couple of nights, all in a neat row.

Piglet's is a nice shot of the moon and Venus.......earlier this winter, the moon, Venus, and Jupiter put on beautiful show.

Moon and Venus, nice shot Tim. That was a couple weeks ago by the crescent moon. Moon has really been bright the past few nights in cold-arse Virginia. Going to get much colder too. But the skies have been wonderful for star gazing. I rarely use the telescope on nights when the moon is really bright.
