Airshow Pilot Killed Today

Dear God, I sure hope he died instantly. From what little remains of the aircraft, the fire was very intense...

Very sad indeed. I always worry about the kids in the audience and how it affects them.
I've been to a lot of airshow over the years and thankfully never witnessed a crash. (accident, yes with damage but no one hurt)
I think it would have brought the fear factor in too much. Probably would have turned me away from aviation too.

i go to 4-5 airshows a year and the thought is allways in the back of my mind....i never speak it though..i feel it would be inappopriate to say outloud at an airshow...what woould happen if a plane crashed today?...but ive seen two...both at the reno airraces...
