I Just love this thread.... Hah - My thoughts on Alabeo? -Never purchased their aircraft so do please excuse the following; - I do love the short sharp observations and even though I am not qualified thru purchase to rate their products the "differentiate" comments in this subject hit the mark for me. Because as I see it, what is Alabeo now, but a junior Carenado IMHO. Why not just get back together like long lost buddies and trade under the same name ? Or alternatively, buy out the Carenado licence and trade all under Alabeo !!

They need to slow down their production rate, and churn out some more quality products under one storefront.

The number of releases that kept having the leading digit of the transponder blank if you set a zero was getting rediculous. The same bug over and over... Just an assembly line I guess.

My example is just one of the MANY bugs that transfer from plane to plane

I finally had the sense to quit buying from them.

If I buy aircraft addons with a lot of bugs then I stop buying from that develloper. Never mind the price. Its personal which bugs we find to be showstoppers. I have some, where it doesnt affect me and others that I cant live with.
In my case aesthetics are not so important, but instruments, like navigation instruments, autopilots etc, are definately showstoppers for me because it means I cant fly the darn thing. I actually like using VOR/ADF/ILS and whatever there is in an AC. Especially on old style AC from before the GPS era I like flying without gps and without moving map. Pure oldschool. If I cant do that with an AC addon, then its grounded (like in real world).

When the SAME bugs happens OVER and OVER... yes it's a big deal to me. Fix it the first time and don't let it happen again! It's laziness. And for 34.95 it should be fixed!

So - after all...did anyone here buy this plane? and is it typical of Alabeo, outstanding model in detail, scale, and quality with some difference on opinion about the flight model and a minus grade from the painters?

Bought it, like it, it flies well enough for me, even if USD35.00 equates to AUD40.00 plus change.
I can't fire guns, missiles or any other form of ordnance but that's a major plus for me.
I'll always support developers who produce eclectic aircraft instead of the inevitable duplicate military types.
And I do like small fast GA singles.

I'll probably buy it, even though I can't fly it. Their planes are just too much for my system, but I like their work and wish to support it. Also, this is one of my favorite GA airplanes. Now, if RealAir would just make me a Glassair III RG...
