Hi,
Noticed new shots on the Facebook! http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.270353263022754.63186.222192937838787&type=1

I wait for this!

They certainly build good looking models. I am curious tho' about its flying model . I didn't get the Pitts because of its reported lack of full aerobatics . I'll wait to hear reports about this one too. Looks great.

I am always amazed at the "I want real aerobatics" type flying......I think I've sen it said here so many times but once again.....you will never have "real aerobatics" in FSX....the engine that runs the sim is not set up for it. Sure it can be faked a bit and tweaked but.....its not "real aerobatics". Is ay if you want real....go do the real thing......if you want to come "as close as you can" and still have fun.....fly FSX.

I think OJ said it best, " we're beating a dead horse"

...Very well put. Any kind of 'outside of the envelope' flying...Aircraft that have exceptional capabilities can not be fully replicated with the current engine; There are exceptions to some of this, such as the VRS superhornet....but that aircraft took many years to develop and bypasses a large part of the engine using external coding. So, for the most part, I think it is admirable that for 20 0r 30 bucks, the developers can get it somewhat close. I applaud that.:applause:

Amen! I went over to the Facebook page to take a look and people are just being next to downright insulting, it's almost like they're ENJOYING tearing this developer down. They're just getting started and I think they deserve a chance. IMHO, the quality of the models alone are worth the price. Not every developer has the talent on all things to be able to "fake" the simulator into doing things thru tricky coding, etc, etc. And last I checked, most fde experts do not come cheap.

(Disclaimer) if none of this makes sense, I accidentally took one of my wife's Ambien CR's and I've been reading people do strange things due to that stuff:sleep:

Yep, same here and I don't profess to know anything "in-depth" about aerobatics. . . .although I've watched a lot of it and been able to speak to those who fly aerobatics and have flown in an aerobatic airplane a few times (a local Christen Eagle). What I do know is that the technical side of the sport, the maneuvers involved and the situational awareness it takes to maintain those maneuvers requires years and years of practice and dedication. I seriously doubt that there are many armchair pilots in the community that have the ability to pull off precision aerobatics. The maneuvers might resemble something similar to the real thing, but FSX and any Aerobatic airplane (Payware or Freeware) are less than ideal partners for true Aerobatic Precision. . . . .and actually, if you're capable of pulling off a perfect rolling 360 or Lomcovak. . . .maybe you should be doing this for real and become a member of the IAC.

Sorry guys , no offence .
If you can "fake and tweak " the flight model then it should be done. This is a pure aerobatic plane , nothing more.
As regarding the Pitts I was told by someone who ability with writing/altering flight models is well recognized that in essence the flight model is awful. No spins, no hammerheads, no snap rolls . These things can be done within fsx.
Cheers.

Well , that being the case Skyhawka4m , I'll have to retract what I said . I was listening to somebody that I respect in this area.

As far as tearing developers down , far from it . Going on the information I was given I would of not been happy to buy a plane whose sole purpose was aerobatics to find that it couldn't do it . As any consumer would be .

I have bought addons that have been , and no other word for it , trash ( not neccessarily airplanes ). Just money making grabs . Alabeo are obviously not in this catogory but because of what I understand I will hold off for some to see if any fixes are needed or made .

I dont do facebook, so I have no idea whats happening over there . Anyways, I have been hanging out for a radial and heres one right in front of me !...

I just think we need to give this new company some time to grow into the field. Lets not foget that there have ALWAYS been a group of folks who have consistantly trashed Carenado for the FDE's and in the end...I think Carenado is proaobly once of the best selling, best modeled, detailed aircraft out there. For what they are selling us....I will take the FDE issues because I know in the end...someone will do what they feel is a fix for it and hopefully make it better. For what Alabeo is charging for these planes......I think we are getting a hell of a good deal. I say buy it....and have some fun with it....don't be part of the problem be part of the solution. Lets help this company, not discourage them.

I purchased the Pitts and love it, it's a good fun aircraft to fly. I am not an aerobatics pilot so i can not comment on the flight model so to speak.

But i will say this, it's the best exterior model of this particular aircraft going around hands down.

I will most certainly purchase the SU-26 for that reason alone.

Cheers all.

I havent the Pitts of Alabeo but definitely wait for this Su26. Saw him in action on 5-6 air shows. For sure, FSX isnt very well for aerobatics, better for this is a ... Condor or... Rise of Flight but for nice fun in FSX is possible with this Su and vfr flight for sure.

I used for aerobatics FSX Passengers - with option Aerobatic Flight (as mission) - great fun. You have pax ( ex. 65 y.old) must do something aerobatics but dont exceed a x,x G ect. Pax screaming too :icon_lol: .
