Albatross flown using Cyborg Evo Forcefeedback

Hi,

I have noticed when flying any of the Albatross variants that my Cyborg Evo is very stiff and reluctant to do as told, is anyone else noticing this?

I have not really tried any of the other german aircraft in the game apart from a brief flirtation with the eindekker (pure evil) which I could'nt master, I now have an even greater respect for Max Immelman and Oswald Boelcke.

If anyone with the same stick could offer any advice on whether this is just my particular setup, or something that is written into the game I would appreciate it.

Thanks

Hi, RUGBYFAN
The Albatros is a rather "heavy" plane, compared to anything, Sopwith built.
So, when you have flown a Pup before, you'd think, someone has put glue into the aileron joints.
You must fly it very different. Make use of the weight by holding down the nose a bit, gain speed, then do your turns.
When I first flew her, I could not get behind anyone, or stalled.
Now I don't stall, hardly ever, and shoot up even Camels.
I don't think it's your stick. You're only not used to this different flight model. Practise it, if you like - or go back to the lighter fly birds ?
Have fun. Olham

Yes Rugbyfan, The Albatros is somewhat like the Spad and even the EIII. Don't try to do so much of a banking turn but rather use the rudder for a somewhat flat turn. Bank a little and keep your nose just below the horizon. The EIII was so much lighter than the Albie or Spad but it was so under powered. I think it is a weight to engine power thing. The Nupes and Sops handle entirely differently IMHO. Keep at it though and you'll catch on and have success like Herr Olham perhaps.

I have the opposite problem with the sopwiths, unless I am doing over 120mph, in that they are too easy to fly and I generally find myself overshooting.

The frightening thing I have found in the sopwiths as well especially the tripe is the climb rate (I fly on easy), I have taken off and just left her to her own devices with the engine on full, and by the time I get the "press x to ward" I am already at 2000ft+ doing a sedate 25mph with the danger stall waring flashing and the joystick vibrating like my old metro when pushed over 70mph.

I can fly the SE5A comfortably, and the BE2C, but then she is as placid as a carthorse (and a tad slower).

Thanks
