Aliasing a VC

I've copied my FS9 Wilco/feelThere Boeing 737 into FSX.

But I'm having trouble trying to alias the VC of the FS9 Wilco/feelThere Boeing 737 to the default FSX B737-800

The Wilco Boeing 737 looks and flies good in FSX apart from the panel/gauges not working.

I can't be bothered buying the FSX version so I've been trying to get VC aliased to the default 737 (not entirely accurate but ... )

I had success in modifying the Scottish Aviation Twin Pioneer and aliasing the VC to the default DC-3.

With the Wilco 737 I've copied various FSX default B737-800 files across (eg .. B737_800_interior.mdl etc) but the aircraft is totally invisible in the sim when I try to use the aliased VC.

Any help greatly appreciated thanks.

Pete

Hello,

You can only alias a VC if the aircraft model is native FSX and does not
already have a VC model built into the aircraft model.

Don't bother. As far as I know, even the FSX version of the Wilco 737 doesn't use FSX native models.
