All these years, and still learning..share your story of the week

Hi All,
So, all I wanted to do was modify a small element at McCall Mun. Airport, in Idaho...with ADE. Simple right? Done it lots of times, right? All of my other works compiled fine. Well, I didn't know of the boundary fence issue, with compiling. So, McCall wouldn't compile.. Strange, I didn't have the fsx_sdk_sp1a installed... My register said it was installed, but it wasn't...

And, so after downloading it again (165mb) It wouldn't install...won't even open... odd... So, back to the google search engine. After over an hour, trusty Bill Leaming had a response, on another forum, to another desperate fella. It was back in like '07, but he had the fix. So, I found the fsx_sdk_sp1a in my add/remove list, uninstalled, backed up my old SDK files, and hurray...it works... And so does ADE, again. All of these years, still learning.

Is this was M$ calls "Legacy mode"...where it just keeps going, and going??

Share your learning experience of the week here!

Joseph
