Allen: Need Help With Another Drop Tank Issue...

Hi Allen,

This is in regards to the Alphsaim freeware A-1H/J Skyraider 300 gallon drop tank. First issue is that it appears to be backwards. Second issue is that when AS made the A-1 weapons bgl, they didn't make one for the Air Force A-1, which uses a camo texture, and one for the Navy A-1, which uses a gray texture.

Is there a way to reverse the drop tank AND have a bgl that calls for a drop tank texture (either camo or gray) by a slightly different name?

Don't have the SCASM know how to flip the tank. Maybe some one can help with that. As for needing the tank to be camo I can extract the gray tank and make a new one from it to use the camo texture.

EDIT:
The ~A1_300gal_tank is gray for you?

In Model Conveter X and once loaded into gMax it is loading the camo texture.

Okay here is the tank in camo for you TW. Uses the name of ~A1_300gal_tant_camo in aircraft DP.

Heheh, yes, that's how AS made it, same bgl for two different colored planes, same texture name, but two different texture colors.

I can tolerate the gray tank on both planes, really, but it's the backwards appearance of the tank that has been a pet peeve.

And there goes the other foot. How the &$%T could I miss spell tank.

Think I got gray tank to flip and fixed my spelling error with the camo tank. Now camo tank is named ~A1_300gal_tank_camo

Sorry having bad brain farts...

Spelling aside, the tank looks great! :jump: Besides, a drop tank by any other name is still a drop tank, right?
