There will be about 15 missions starting from 1943 to the end of the war depicting Pierre Closterman carear. Player will fly SPitfire and Tempest.

It will give a good overview of RAF activity during the two finaly years of the war: player will start flying air superiority missions (sweep, circus...) and then, will switch to tactical missions before Overlord.

The release will come in june there are a few missions that have to be done and minor details to work on in order to add immersion.

I'll post screen shots if I've time.

Hi Nonato, LZ,

Can't wait to see and fly. Building some missions myself, I know the painstaking proces that goes with it. Recently I recieved some good advice from Wulfman (does anyone still remember him?). Together with de thread started by O-one-driver it made a huge difference.

So: keep going!

Looking forward to this set as well Led, thankyou :)
Historical missions like this are the sort of thing that cfs3 excells at. :)

Volkel, home of the 122 Wing.... damned, it's bloody cold!

Hi LZ,

Is this the German made Fliegerhorst Volkel in south Netherlands?
If yes, is it already part of ETO 1.20?

In that case I should investigate the Dutch part of ETO better :)))

RemcoC

yes it is.

We plan to release two versions of this pack in the same download:
1 - ETO stuff only, no download requiered
2 - 3 aircrafts from AvH will be needed (Tempest, Spitfire High Altitude and Spitfire MkIX)

We have also try to add as much historical details and comments as possible in briefing / debriefing sections.

Release will be around end of june. There are still a couple of missions to be build, Nonato will be very busy at work in june and all my week ends are full (a friend of mine will get married and I'll go to the Le Mans 24 hours).

65 years ago, Normandy 1944

B11 Longues-sur-Mer
Mulberry Harbour (Arromanches)
The battle of Caen

... expect quite some activity around these places in this mission pack :d

The Spitfire that will be use is the 3gb_Spitfire_9c_m61_VSH

Doing this, the player will be able to fly with historical skins that ndicki have just uploaded. Links to these skins will be given in the readme.

Below are three screens shots, both Spits wear Closterman skins made by ndicki.

Relase date is still schedule for the end of june.

I was going to say, I've just uploaded three skins for Clostermann, and one for Mouchotte. Remlinger got left out because I couldn't find the s/n for his aircraft...

Only one more mission have to be build, should be ok for next week!

March 1945: if you think that Luftwaffe is grounded and ended then, you are wrong :d

The pack is ready for upload but Nonato is busy at work actually? I hope he will have time to validate the final version soon.

Find below the readme that is included, there are some good links about Pierre Clostermann:
