In regards to combat by Western planes, there was the Gulf of Sidra incident.

The majority of the others I have read about involve Egypt and the IAF Mirage.
A lot of middle eastern countries had an inventory of Mig-23's as Roxane-21 and Gius stated.

Eight Iraqi Mig 23s were shot down in the Gulf War in 1991 - Seven by F-15Cs of the 33rd and 36th TFWs and one by an F-16C of the 52nd FW.

Jets in CFS2 are not in my wheelhouse but this looks like a nice piece of work, Dave.
