Alpha Sim Spitfires...am I missing one?

I have the Spitfire package that Alpha Sim released as freeware last year I think it was...the big package that is CFS2, FS2002 and FS2004...the one with like 6 or 8 skins. And I have the older gray LF IX package....the clipped wing version one. But wasn't there an older package that had a camo scheme Spit....a Mk VIII or Mk IX....not the new big package, but an older package with just on or two planes in it?

Was there a third Spit package from Alpha Sim? If so, does anyone know where to get it?

I remembered last night that I owe someone a personalized paint scheme and I thought it was the earlier camo Spit that he wanted his personal paint job done on.

The package came through just fine....but unfortunately that is the newest Spit package Alpha Sim released.

I swear there was an older camo Spit package...or am I going totally mental?!?!?!?!?

Ooops, I sent this because it was dated 2004 in the air file and it was a MkVIII and a IX. The only other I have from ALphaSim is the clipped-wings one you mentioned, which looks quite older.

If it's not the one, then I have no idea :kilroy:
 
Hi Obio,

I just checked my AlphaSim Spits and have an LF MkIX with one skin, two MkVIIIc's (43 Sqn with gray/green camo and the other is a desert camo, unknown unit) and finally two MkIXc's (421 Sqn in gray/green camo and a desert camo, unknown unit).

Are any of the Gray Green camo ones on the odd 512 by 512 texture files. The newest AS Spits are on 1024 by 1024 size textures, but the one I am thinking of, if it actually existed, was on the 512 by 512 size texture files and was a CFS2/FS2002 model from a number of years back. Came with out a panel bmp, just a stripped down panel config file with no gauges listed and a solid black BLANK panel bmp.

I think you are right with that Tim.I have the Mk1 Xmas present Spits,older Mk1s from Ramis BOB pack I tested ages ago,and the LF MK9.But that said I do remember a couple of other packs.A US MK8 and a couple of others that for the life of me I cant find.Must have lost them when I cleared out all the unwanted junk on my comp!I will check some backup disks and let you know what I find.

A while back, a group of us were on Skype (you, me, Collin, Good2Be) and you reminded me about doing your personal skin...so I fired up Photoshop and was working on the paint template as we all shot the bull. Shortly there after, I had a system crash and lost everything that I did not have archived. I am sure that the plane I was working on was an older style AS Spit in Camo, with the full elliptical wings...a Mk 8 I think...but not the Mk 8 from the package AS released last year.

I am pretty sure that I downloaded the package from the old Alpha Sim site, which I can no longer find.

I,ve found an Alpha spit pack with a couple of Mk8 camos and a couple of Mk9 camos including a US one,but when I tried to send them to you my old rig spat the dummy and refused to comply.I will try to find another way of getting them to you ASAP.:ernae:
 
Hi OBIO,

I unzipped the MkIXc with the gray/green camo. The fuselage texture is 1024x1024 but the wing textures are 512x512, the pilot is 256x256, cockpit and panel textures are 512x512 and a misc. texture called spitlast is 256x256.
