Has anyone done a conversion of the freeware Alphasim Cessna T-50 Bobcat to CFS2? I am working on a total "restoration" of this neat little plane for FS2004...and have the initial MDL and flight dynamics conversion to CFS2 done. If no one else has done a conversion, I will take the work I am doing for the FS2004 version and apply it to the CFS2 conversion: new skins, totally revamped 2D and VC panel (will have to regauge both as the FS2004 gauges won't work in CFS2....which is a shame as they look amazing!).
The Cessna T-50 was had a few designations while in military use:
AT-8, AT-17, C-78, UC-78, Crane (RCAF). Nearly 5000 of these little twin engine planes were built for military use during WW2, and their military service continued to varying degrees for some years after the war ended. The United States Air Force used the "Bamboo Bomber" for a while even.
Not sure when I will have the conversion fully done....have a ton of projects underway...as usual...but I will work on it a bit each day to get it fully completed.
