My intention with my set of four B-17 schemes is to provide appropriate B-17 skins for as much of the war as our single model, the G, allows. This is the fourth and final example, another unpainted machine which shows one of the more elaborate and colorful group marking schemes, common late in the war. This is only a slight modification of the original (with the colors toned down) to honor B-17 fliers from my home state, Delaware. This is 'Blue Hen Chick' (the Blue Hen is the state bird)...
