Am I losing what's left of mu limited marbles?

As part of my rebuilding my Flightsim setup on the my new PC, I am downloading and reloading all the old freeware files I used to have; unfortunately some seem to now have disappeared (the old Transglobal site has now gone, but thankfully the VSP stuff is elsewhere) and some I just cannot locate - to the extent that I'm beginning to thing I may have imagined I had them in the first place!

Examples? Well, I'm sure I had a Junkers 290, or possibly 390; and I'm fairly positive that I used to have more British experimentals, such as the Bristol 188 and an SR53. Am I finally cracking up? Can anybody put me out of my misery?:salute:

Thank you, so I'm not (totally) insane. I already had that SRA1 (really must tweak that flight model!!!), but that has given me a direction to look for the big Junkers.

Any other pointers greatly appreciated folks.

William Dickens (Bismarck13) did a Junkers 290 and 390....not sure of those are the ones you had or not....but I think they are the only ones out there.

If you go to the Warbirds Archive, do an author search for Bismarck13, you will find the Ju290 and Ju390...and some other very nice CFS2 planes that work nicely in FS9.

Thanks Obio, I'll check that out.

Looks like some of these are lost forever, the demise of Transglobal is a blow - thankfully there were enough upgrade bits at The Pond to piece together a Blackburn Beverly.

And I have just found the Beverly itself on Flightsim! Relief!!!

Hi,

Those 390's need definitively some tweaks at airfile
Must apply some noze pitch down by modifying the flaps pictch if you want take off and landing properly (or like :) ) as the original air file make you land tailwheel first with full flaps and full trim up (bad attitude) :)
Try 0.0450000 or some like this for begin testing .......
Also need correct tailwheel contact point to 6.55 or 6.6 for the height.
