Just when you think you have everything running some what better...

You get a message from the Hosting company. Short story they need to move us to a new server. I have been working with them to plan a good date for all concerned. Here is what we have come up with as a schedule.

    1. November 4th 17:00 -5UTC shut off the forums and start backup proceedures. During this time there will be no access to the forums or the Resource Section.
    2. November 5th Continue with Backups and download same until complete.
    3. November 6th 7:00 turn over server to hosting company to move system to new server
    4. November 7th - 8th restore backups and upgrade forum software.

If all goes well we should be back online on November 8th.

To keep you updated we will post updates on AVSIM forums.

    Thank you for your support.

That is the DeltaSim KGV nines back at a guess , they also produced a great Admiral Graf Spee released 7 years back.

They are very impressive! I am starting to get tempted now, I need to stop looking at them. Those LHD models are brilliant, but they're also $48 USD.

That's exactly (well - $47.99) what the new DCS World Normandy map and WW2 assetts pack is selling for, and I think I would get much more use out of that.

I was really interested with the KGV simply I built a scratch built model, tho that is the late 1944 build were as the PC model here is the 1941/2 when it still carried the Walrus, when they were removed the hangers and and that part off the ship was used as the state wardrooms for Admiral and other flag staff, one top of that was turned into the boat deck and the old boat deck was then tuned into anti-aircraft division on the ship.
